The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer - the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again.

2012 whats all this hype?


obviously a misguidence from the truth as usual.  i love human history its one of my obsessions, and ive been studying the truth about 2012 for quite some time now and trying to understanding a bit more.  i will post videos of everything i know now that im on this forum for the people who are actually interested in this stuff

I haven't done much research on the subject but my instinct leads me to believe that the Mayan (and other quoted ancient) calenders have something about them that could LOOK like the end of the world on Dec 21st 2012 enough for people to generate hype and fear and countless TV shows and (at least) one movie.

I'm nearly 100% on the fact that the world ain't coming to an end or going through a cataclysmic change on 12/21/2012.
But I know I'll be a little nervous on 12/20/2012.
